  • What goods and services does AIIT offer?
    The AIIT Group Insurance Program offers insurance products for AIIT members through various carriers. Pearl Insurance markets and administers these life and health plans, and includes services for policy-related questions, claim coordination, and online bill payment.

  • What are the requirements to cancel my policy and receive a refund?
    If an insured elects to cancel their policy, a written request signed by the policyholder is required to process the cancellation.

    All policy cancellation and refund requests must also include the following:

    • Name of insured (as it appears on the policy)
    • Policy number (found on the insured’s policy)
    • Subscriber ID number (found on the insurance premium statement)
    • Effective date of policy cancellation

    Policy Cancellation and Refund

    If a refund is due to the insured for a mid-term policy cancellation, the refund will be issued within 30 days upon receipt of the cancellation notice. Refunds will be issued via the same manner in which the customer originally submitted payment.

  • What is the security method for the transmission of payment data?
    AIIT online pay protects your personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure by storing your information on computer servers located in a controlled and secure environment. When personal information, like a credit card number, is transmitted to other websites, it is protected through the use of encryption (including the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) protocol).

    For risk management and processing certain types of follow-up transactions (such as recurring billing or refunds), our credit card vendor, Authorize.Net®, stores customer payment information in a highly secured database for a limited period of time. All sensitive and personal insured information stored by Authorize.Net® is masked in the merchant interface and in merchant reporting. Additionally, in order to meet credit card security compliance programs, internal access to insured information is highly restricted. Once insured payment information has been stored for 120 days from the date of receipt, Authorize.Net® purges the full information and stores only masked information.
